KTX Fishing

The player stands at one of four spots and casts. What comes up depends on the spot and the rod, and the ped at the water buys it at the price you set.

Four spots

Del Perro Pier, the Alamo Sea, Chumash Coast and Paleto Bay Pier, with areas that follow the shoreline and the decking instead of a circle laid over the top. Each one holds its own list with its own chances, and something that is only ever there: a king crab in Paleto, a golden fish in the Alamo Sea, a treasure chest at Del Perro, a shark and a dolphin at Chumash.

02

Your own spots

A point and a radius, with a reward list of your choosing.

03

Three rods

Four numbers per rod: how often it lands, how fast it casts, how much it brings up, and how far it shifts the odds toward the rare entries. The menu lists every rod, owned or not.

04

Fifteen items

From a tin can to a treasure chest, each with its own picture.

05

The market

A ped at the water who pays your prices, one set for each spot. An item without a price is not bought at all.

06

Experience and luck

Experience adds a percentage that grows with the player and stops where you say, and luck adds another now and then. Neither can ever take money away, so your prices are the floor.

07

Numbers for the player

Catches, time fished, sessions, the three they caught most, and the rod and the spot they use most.

08

No levels

A rod is bought or it is not, a spot is open or it is off, and your economy stays yours.

09

The server decides every catch

Position, rod and pacing are checked before it rolls. A catch that does not fit the inventory is never handed out.

10

Two languages

English and German, and a language of your own is a copy of one file.

11

Exports

Read the fishing experience of a character, or add to it.
